why does america sell weapons and equipment for making such to israel pakistan and india, all 3 who havent signed the non proliferation treaty, and are then surprized iran wants to have nukes? why is it ok for these others to have them and not iran?
pakistan and india have come close to nuking each other, wasnt it irresponsible for the west to help these countries in that way?
Who started the first gulf war that lasted 8 years ???
do you remember anything about the Iran-Contra affair ??
this is not very far history
Immediately after the take over of power from the Shah of Iran, Islamic fundamentalists headed by Ayatollah Khomeini demanded that all wealth transferred from Iran to USA by the Shah be returned. To push their demands, nearly 50 American tourists were held hostage by Iran. A lot of effort to release the hostages by USA proved futile. On the 444th day, on the day when Ronald Reagan assumed presidency, they were released in exchange for the gold deposited by the Shah. To punish Iran for this, with all the American weapons, Iraq's Saddam Hussein invaded Iran on the pretext of gaining supremacy in the Persian Gulf.... ie., Iraq's Saddam Hussein on behalf of USA started the first Gulf War.
And after the service that Sadam gave to the States and the Iraqi army lost hundreds of thousands of its soldiers , Sadam was rewarded by a war that is not finished , over a million Iraqi killed . over a million refugees , god knows how many injured , also over 4 thousands American soldiers lost their
lives , 30 thousands injured , at a cost to the tax payer money
of more than 800 billions . What is your comment on that ???
Oh I forgot Sadam rewards also included his trial and hanging.
Shall we reward him for the tasteful style with which he decorated his rape and torture rooms?
Not at all , but you skipped the first part of the question
if the objective was to remove Sadam , it could have been done
with less disastrous cost to lives and money

How serious and immediate is a nuclear threat from Iran? What should we do about it? Some of the same hawks who helped talk us into invading Iraq are coming out of the woodwork and saying that a nuclear Iran is intolerable and something must be done to prevent it from happening. A timely and...

Professor Francis Boyle, the person who drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 enacted by the US Congress, said that in 2001-2004, the US Federal Government spent $14.5 billion for civilian bio-warfare-related work. What other purpose does this serve but to kill people? The US and...

It is all falling neatly into place for the US to attack Iran on behalf of Saudi Arabia. The US views the plot as state-sponsored terrorism. Secretary of state Hillary Clinton described it as a "violation of international norms" and said she would discuss with allies in Europe and...

I'm sorry, but I have yet to find any evidence that Iran is building a nuke. Yet, the EU just condemned starvation and austerity to the people of Iran because it MIGHT be building a nuke.http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/mid … story.htmlBest quote of the article? "increase sanctions...
