I'm a conservative moderate. I vote for who I think will do the best job. Otherwise I vote issues. I wanted to give my benchmark so maybe someone can point out which is which, they're the same or non of the above. I fear socialists hide behind a liberal banner. What do you think?
"I fear socialists hide behind a liberal banner."
of corse they do. tomato & tomoto.
Aren't they both the same?

Thats what I thought. How you doing?
Im a conservative moderate as well. I felt i had to vote for the lesser of 2 evils.
To be honest, I have not been overly impressed with Rep/Dem 'final' options for a good long while.

LOL, that made me laugh.
Well if we're talking about socialists hiding behind the guise of 'liberalism', what about full on conservatives hiding behind the guise of 'independant' or 'moderate conservative'. I run into those all the time. Me, I consider myself a moderate left winger. I have voted right wing on issues before. I like to analyze a situation before I devote myself to a vote.
Analysis of the last Presidential election was easy. Even if I had supported McCain, his choice of running mate would have driven me away. Palin is an idiot of the highest caliber, and we don't need another one of those in a high position.
The questions wasn't 'are you a democrate or a republican.'
Does anyone know a liberal republican? (whatever the words mean)
the presidential election has become such a joke that I have a hard time liking anyone. McCain was the lesser of the evils in my eye, but here in AZ he has completely ignored the border issues that DO need addressed. Did Palin scare me? "you betcha".
But Obama. here comes the pain train. on every level imaginable.
Heres your "Change". T-"boned".

I vote issues and there are some liberal positions I agree with, just not how they go about getting the job done. But I relate better, in gereral, with conservatives.

What liberal positions do you agree with?

There wasn't a good choice. I knew that if Obama was elected though they'd all be crawling out of the woodwork! Surprise and they're all here!

Enviroment, not cap & trade, because I believe we need to do some things to clean things up. Healthcare needs to be reformed I just don't want to pay illegals or those who have chosen to not work, key word chosen. I'm a strong supporter of mandatory national service. I believe we need education reform alot of our public schools are not safe and we need to get more middle and lower income kids in college.
Nice. But those are kinda neutral topics anyways. Improve the environment, better healthcare, and better education. I think everyone wants that.
