[Jen, check this article out.  http://www.haydenplanetarium.org/tyson/ … fignorance

    I <3 theoretical physics!]

    wow.

I've seen Tyson on The Universe (History channel) but I did not realize how extensive his work is.

You have given me much to read. I thank you.

And, my favorite quote of the day:
"Sire," Laplace replied, "I have no need of that hypothesis."
I think many people will be hearing that line this weekend...

This article is 100% up my alley. I will call it the Tyson Gap. It fills lots of the little holes that I don't cover up with god.

    Thanks my friend

Saying religion is dead, has no basis in fact.  The latest studies show that 16% of the world population in all polls say that they are nonreligious.  That leaves almost 6,000,000,000 people that are religious.

Looks like 84 % are looking up. It's Lookin up!
That sounds like a good thing in general.  It's lookin up

I thought you'd like it!  Yea I first encountered him on The Universe (History channel) as well.  I had heard a bit about him in my readings of Brian Greene, Michio Kaku and Stephen Hawkings, but never really looked into it.  When I read that article for the first time I was blown away.  Such truth!

Thank you too, I didn't know about that water on the moon discovery!  So cool!  So many cool discoveries lately in our solar system alone.  I hope one day soon we will be able to explore beneath the icy surface of Europa...

While we're at it.  This is a pretty popular youtube video on the string theory.  Kinda puts a lot into perspective (and makes me feel insignificant, yet necessary, haha)

I'm glad I mentioned it to you, I really did assume you had heard the news.
Move east, you will get news earlier  lol

Yes, lots going on lately. I'm still blown away by the Huygens probe myself. Completely amazes me.

String theory? When my dad was still alive we would talk about it - i just can't QUITE get my head around it...

You are giving me all kinds of stuff to study here. I was planning to write tomorrow, but I think my plans just changed smile

    hmmm, videos first, or reading?

I'm taking off for the night, take it easy Pro
    smile

absolutely right! everything is relative, depends solely on the person's way of thinking and conscious & sub conscious mind plays a big role over the conflict.

It should be dead, but it will never until we will declare it as dead.
