Hemp is a part of the plant but not the part you smoke. And you can be for the legalization never having smoked pot.

I suggest making this a hub though. Its interesting.

Hemp Powder is legal for consumption in the US. It is illegal to grow though. It is used for many reasons in the Raw Vegan diet.

Just a fact, go Amazon Hemp Powder if you don't believe it.

Why don't you put a pamphlet in Michael J Fox's letter box.  If it works, I'm sure he'll be an advocate for your hemp oil.

I have contacted the Michael J. Fox foundation, but like most organizations, they either don't respond or do not respond favorably.

While hemp is regularly used and has come to mean industrial cannabis, from a purely technical standpoint, the hemp plant comprises all cannabis, INCLUDING smoked cannabis.  You can smoke the hemp plant, but you cannot smoke industrial hemp.  Rick Simpson calls it hemp oil, I probably would have called it cannabis oil, but hey, I don't think it's that big of a deal.

To all those who are skeptical about this, as you should be, it is important that you look at all the facts.  Here is the news article about Rick after his second trial:
    http://www.amherstdaily.com/index.cfm?s … &sc=58

Rick's home was raided again on November 25 while he was in Europe, and now he cannot return to Canada.  The RCMP will not admit to conducting the raid, yet Rick's son Mike caught the raid on tape.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxXWl5ZsQCM

Look how messed up this situation.  RCMP will not show a warrant, will not say their names, and will not even admit to conducting the raid.  They are getting scared, but this will only make it worse for them.  The American and Canadian governments are carrying out genocides on their own people.  Are we seriously going to stand this?  I thought after the Holocaust we said never again, but that has proved time and time again to be a worthless claim.

    QUOTE:
Rick risked 12 years in prison to give away this medicine, so why would he do that if it didn't work?
    -----------------
You can't use this to show credibility, just look at the religion forums. People have risked their lives for what others consider untruths before.

I believe in this context it can.  The scientific evidence is there.  Other people have recreated his results.  And people don't just risk so many years in prison for nothing; religion is one thing, but this is different.  This is real, but religion will forever be debated.  What is so hard to believe about cannabis being a panacea?  In terms of chemistry, it is most similar to the human body.  It is essentially bonding humans with nature.

You are right about the medical use of THC and Cannabinoids however Hemp oil was not invented by Rick, its been around for centuries,it used to be called hash oil.Growing Any variety of marijuana is illegal in America including the variety known as Hemp which grows very tall yielding excellent fiber but has zero THC content(look it up).The majority of Americans still believe the bullshit the Govt has been putting out since 1936 so out right legalization is impossible at this point HOWEVER,putting the word MEDICAL in front of it lends an air of legitimacy so people will accept the possibility.IT will be fully legalized but must be done through the Back Door as it were. The myth that Pot makes you stupid can be destroyed by taking a look at Me,I've been smoking pot for thirty seven years and I'm not stupid.

I may have just negated everything I just said in your eyes but thats Cool to.

This is bulls**t. Hemp Oil has been around for ages, if it could cure 'any kind of cancer' it would be being used for such purposes already.

Kaabiposted 15 years agoin reply to this

That seems to be the main problem people have with this medicine.  "If it worked, it would be used already."  Well if people have always been saying then, then nothing would get adopted, would it?  Second, you cannot just ignore all the other evidence because of that claim.  Somebody I helped acquire hemp oil was confirmed with tumor shrinkage after only a month on the oil, and the tumor had been there for three years with nothing working.  Don't tell me this doesn't work when I actually know people who have used this, real people who would be dead without this vital medicine.

I also think hemp is a great food product to add to your diet. I have a hemp site if anyone is interested in learning more about it. I've had it for almost 3 years now and created it because I am fascinated by the whole subject. Plus, it is legal to grow in Canada, but only by licensed farmers who are approved by the government. Here is my site www.hemp-guide.com
