The Articles of Freedom Liberty Coalition

...And so it is proposed that these Articles be distributed to All in the Land, with the intent to draw the attention and courage of a “goodly number of millions of People” who, entitled to their Freedom and essential to Its maintenance, Arise to Restore and maintain the Constitution for the United States of America...

Then, and only then, will America's Destiny be Fulfilled.

The goal is to present a clear demonstration of the power of the People to hold our elected officials accountable to the Constitution, by claiming and exercising their natural, unalienable Right to do so, all as guaranteed by the accountability clause of the First Amendment. This will require civic action by a pro-active, non-violent, mass-movement having nothing to do with politics or the electoral process.

The Articles of Freedom are intended to be the FREE vehicle around which a critical mass of People can rally and Pledge their mutual support, leading to the manifestation of that demonstration of legal, constitutional, Peaceful People Power – the day of reckoning, a settling of accounts between the People and their Government regarding their fundamental roles and relationships.

To accomplish the goal of restoring our Constitution and then maintaining citizen vigilance that seeks to hold our elected officials accountable forevermore, individuals and small groups cannot prevail in the Cause that is before us.

Even notable organizations, dedicated to Freedom, cannot succeed alone, operating in their own corridors or activities.

While each of us surely has a role to play, it will take all of us coming together and standing as ONE now to ensure America fulfills Her Destiny.

What is it that you want these articles to accomplish Sparkling?

it is expressed in the above statement and more definitely in the Articles of Freedom, which you have to read if you are truly interested in change...non-violent change

These are pretty broad themes.  When you say Peaceful People Power and settling of accounts, it sounds confrontational and was pretty much the aim of the Bolsheviks as well as Hitler and his Socialists.

NO, but I'd fight and die, securing a nation that ensures greater personal freedom.

The best interest of our country is personal freedom.
I was thinking more along the lines of taking as much as the government will give you and then expecting more.
We will be more secure if more people had some backbone and would be willing to stand up for this country instead of apologizing for the past.  What was done was done.  Let's get over it and move on.  We are not a bad people.  We are the first to help those in need, i.e. Haiti.  I have put my life on the line for this country and I am proud of it.  I will do it again if it ever comes to that.  I am no more or no less special for it.  I believe it is a small price to pay to have the privilege of living in the best country in the world.
Sacrifice is required in nearly all facets of our lives, if our lives have much meaning.  When did we become so soft that we are so unwilling to make the necessary sacrifices so that we all may benefit to some degree, instead of trying to grab it all for ourselves?
            Just wondering?

              This threaded view is confusing.
I'm not sure if your responding to me or not.
I commend you for your service to our country.
If you are responding to my post consider this,The Constitution was written specifically to guaranty personal freedom. We fight wars to protect those freedoms. If our own government infringes on personal freedoms for any reason the soul of America becomes an empty shell and we the people are defeated from within. The very foundation of this country is personal freedom. For that right I would go to war again.foreign or Domestic including my own government.I was a Marine Staff Sgt and took my turn in a war that proved to be meaningless.Geopolitical Chess is not a good reason to SACRIFICE our young people.Who the hell would be stupid enough to start a war with us anyway?Countering terrorism does not require the sacrifice of personal freedoms either. We have more than enough technology to do that.If a satellite can read a licence plate from outer space finding terrorists should be a snap.Bin laden is a Saudi, his family is Saudi,The Saudis KNOW where he is,you can bet on that.So why aren't we Bombing the hell out of Saudi Arabia instead of Shucking and Jiving like we are there servants?
              Just wondering...

Am surprised you came out whole. The whole process of indoctrinating youth for military consumption is repugnant to me
                :
"And so the recruits emerge from their initiation into the system, stripped of their civilian clothes, shorn of their hair, and deprived of whatever confidence in their own identity they may previously have had as eighteen-year-olds, like so many blanks ready to have the Marine identity impressed upon them.

The first stage in any conversion process is the destruction of an individual's former beliefs and confidence, and his reduction to a position of helplessness and need. It isn't really as drastic as all that, of course, for three days cannot cancel out eighteen years; the inner thoughts and the basic character are not erased. But the recruits have already learned that the only acceptable behavior is to repress any unorthodox thoughts and to mimic the character the Marine Corps wants."
                -Captain Pingree, USMC

In terms of capturing Bin laden, buddy had great idea - make up an actor to play bin laden giving himself up and the real ego maniac will come forth immediately to protest...

Maybe less repugnant when you stop to consider what they are called upon to do for you? Humbled is the feeling that comes to my mind.

    SparklingJewel,

    good intentions I'm sure.

But.....is that how our forefathers ended up establishing the Constitution?

    Nope.

It took people with a basis of decent morals who were willing to fight, literally.....

But indeed I am for holding the government accountable.

Can that be done by peaceful means?

    Who knows.....

you have to read the Articles of Freedom and decide for your self if what is being offered will do what you think should be done.

I didn't write them...but they are a good place to start

and yes, it is all based on non-violent actions by all

but you aren't going to get anywhere unless you read in full what is being offered...

    "destiny"

this is a difficult word to define.....a sparkling generalization that is dangerous to use loosly...

    Now, concerning this document....

"For decades we have had unenforced immigration laws in violation of that mandate, plainly-worded in Article II, that requires the President to “faithfully execute” all the laws passed by Congress;"

I disagree.....the United States "border policy" is a fraud.  Not only have Anglo Americans been the true violators of all established border policies with Mexico, but the ongoing movement of people northward is in direct relation to U.S. meddling in Mexico and Central America....

Anything short of acceptance of this is baseless.....

" We have a President who apparently is not a natural born citizen, a violation of Article II"

Anything that is somehow connected to the ongoing fallacy that is the "birther" movement is immediately "red flagged" in my book....

If people so ignorant as to back this concept is not at all trustworthy......

As I read further I will expand my thoughts....but I will say one more thing before I end this post....

It is one thing to point out how our government, in tandem with private corporations and interests, has interefered in the affairs of what we call "other nations"......which are largely puppet shell regimes..for corporations like Shell....it is another to not pose plans of action that live up to the responsibility that this nation holds....

But, perhaps it does go into these issues.....like how to resolve our longstanding policies towards Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, and El Salvador...not to leave out Mexico and Cuba...

    United Fruit....
    Gulf Oil....
the legacy of men like William Walker.....a prelude to an upcoming publication of my own..

I will read it in greater detail.

Jewels, I just tried to go read them but couldn't get there.  Message read, "The link may be broken".  Tried both from the link and by typing in the URL; same result.

Which could mean the Articles are actually good enough to have garnered hostile attention?

I am slowly reading the Articles, and I'll just have questions as I go along.  I have a limited mind and can't take it all at once, Sorry.

Where it says "This body recognizes that if or when force is brought to bear on the People, it is the Right of the People to meet that force with equal force; be it from a foreign body, or the misuse of domestic power."

Who gave that body authorization to recognize for the People?  In meeting that "force with equal force", who will be managing that "force", it can't be the government because it's not going to fight itself and I am loathe to give that authority to a civilian without qualification.

Okay that's it for now.  See how limited my capacity is?

Bob Shutlz of we the people, is the force behind this effort. He has been embroiled in a fight with the IRS over taxes. His case hinged on the "redress of grievences" clause and the witholding of taxes. After all, if the government refuses to redress your grievences, what can you do to be heard? The supreme court was asked to provide an interpretation of this cluase and refused to hear the case. This only goes to show what can happen when the 3 branches of government act in concert to justify their power. Thatls why I believe it is important for the people to act and hold our government accountable for it`s violations of the constitution which was designed to limit the power of the federal government but which has been ignored for years going back to FDR, the original American socialist!

It is great to hear everyone's perspectives smile It gives us plenty of reason for further thought on the constitutional issues involved. that is my main point.

We as individuals in a nation that are suppose to uphold the Laws of the constitution, must understand what they are !?

There is definitely a spiritual component to the constitutional laws that must not be ignored...and I mean a concept of God is there, we just need to find our God.

My other main point is that I see a significant difference in ideologies of liberals and conservatives and how they run things from a government stance. Now those lines have switched on some issues...what is the core that we are all heading for? what is the foundational meaning of the Constitutional laws as a whole?

do most of the moderate ideals find the common ground? will we continue to live in a society that progresses if we don't find that common understand of constitutional laws? what happens if we don't?
