   Is suicide a sin?
   
   Hi frinds
   
   As per Bible, Jesus got crucified willingly, on his own; that makes him siful; but they say Jesus was innocent. Adam did not commit sin purposely yet Christianity makes him sinful. What a weird approach of the Christianity.
   
   I love Jesus and Adam as they both were innocent as per Quran; Jesus was put on the Cross unwillingly by the Jews; he did not commit suicide as per Quran.

   Someone said I made up the scriptures I quoted in the Bible because it does not agree with their beliefs.  Here are those scriptures: Romans 5:20.  Matthew 12:31.  God says I will have mercy on who I choose to have mercy.  Romans 9:15.  It is ironic when people who claim not to believe can be as rigid as a Pharisee.  In the end it is God who will decide where we all go.  Revelation 20:11-15.  And if I am wrong, I am having a mighty good time in my so-called false beliefs.  And you are welcome to yours.

   we have two categories to deal with
   the saved
   the unsaved.
   
   First lets deal with the saved. (saved are jesus believers)
   If a saved person commits suicide thier connection to jesus must be poor. The life of a christian is difficult, but nothing is bigger than god. The main factor here is sin is defined biblically as: Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". So if a christian commits suicide it would be a sin in the instance of cutting short the work of god in their life. Couple that with their poor connection to god who is able to overcome all things and we have a situation that i would say is sinful. As to the judgement of this situation i will have to leave that up to god. Maybe the person killed themselves because they wanted to be with God but i don't think that'll get them brownie points.
   
   The unsaved. Suicide stops god from "saving them". The end is the same as someone who dies of old age and doesn't know the God of the bible.
   
   So i guess we have 2 evidences for suicide is sin.
   Sorry about your friend. I hada friend do the same at age 14. Ya gotta wonder. He shot himself in the head.
