Christmas Tales Anyone?

   Last year I wrote a Christmas story, and while doing so I discovered it made me remember some of the things which made Christmas important.  I also like to write fiction but seldom do so here.
   
   I just wondered if anyone else would like to have a small contest to write such tales.  The deadline to be at midnight of Wednesday, whatever that is where you live.  No rewards though, that is, other than the enjoyment it gives you!

      Mel has that voice-activated cell phone thingy. We went shopping in Albany today, and there were Santas in several stores. Every time one shouted "Ho, ho, ho," Mel's phone would automatically dial Shan's number! lol

      I think the idea of writing Christmas tales is an excellent idea!  Have to think on this one......
      Hope people jump in, this would be great!  I was lol'ing at you guys, about the wedge of limburger cheese haha.

         Think about it and then write!  Write something for fun once in a while.  It seems to help me relax from the effort of writing non-fiction hubs too!

      Great!  Post it when you finished.  The time line is not important here.  The tale's the thing!  It may be fiction, non-fiction, whatever genre you like.  Hmmm. A sci-fi Christmas carol?  Who knows!

   Sorry.  The only Christmas tale I know is the red Christmas tail I got 45 years ago for horsing around with a football and knocking over the Christmas tree.

      Certainly you have an imagination?  Or perhaps something to the tune of "The Most Boring Christmas of All" would make our tales read better.  It is a time of sacrifice for the betterment of your fellow men.  Ain't it?

         Not in this country.  Not for a long while.  It's become a time to shop, spend and demand your local Church remove their nativity scene as it infringes on your consitutional rights to abhor religion in any form.  We're not allowed to even SAY Christmas anymore.  It's not Christmas, it's the 'Holiday Season'.
