   Hello everyone I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are full from all that great food you had. Its that time again to read and vote for your favorite hubnugget wannabe. The categories this week are Home, Health, Religion and Philosophy....LadyGaga is on hiatus but I wrote a little about Thanksgiving and the whole holiday season and what it means to me.       Are the categories listed somewhere prior to each week's contest - like, do hubbers know during each week what that week's contest categories are?

         The categories are cycled every 7 weeks, so that 3 categories are featured every 3 weeks. (There are 21 top-level topic categories on HubPages)
         
         However, we keep the window of eligibility long enough, so that a Hub published 7 weeks ago by a new Hubber would still be eligible to be selected if its category has only been selected this week.

            . . . but, are what the categories are identified somewhere prior to each week's contest, do we know what 3 categories are featured during the week they are the featured categories?

               No, the first you'll see them is in the HubNuggets Hub for that week. Naturally, the HubNuggets Team knows a week prior, so they can look around and identify good candidates.

      Yup, thanksgiving went pretty well in our home... We actually celebrate Thanksgiving every day of the year, the only difference we have for this year's Thanksgiving (actual holiday) was that we gathered the entire family for a very big reunion...  ;-)

   I stayed at home with my hubby.  We live far from family and we missed out being with them this year.  However, we did enjoy a quiet dinner at home, watched the new Thor movie (it was awesome!), and just relaxed.  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  No Black Friday shopping for me.
