Have you read the changes HP made on the terms of use and privicy act?
What do you think about it?

Personally, I've had a hard time with the change of definition for what is similar content: We may "not Publish Hubs or Hub Content that are identical to, substantially similar to, or derived from other Hubs." My niche is showing the difference and similarities between personality types, so it is hard to show the similarities in completely different wording each time. Therefore, I've given up writing anything more about the individual personality types in an analytical way, since the important consistency in terminology is labeled as content that is too similar.

Is there something in particular about the changes you are concerned about?

I agree with what they are saying, it's a form of plagurism that is relatively easy for hubpages to control (compared to other websites). However someone probably has written something similar to you at some point, so that is where a problem arises.

I never copy anything for my hubs, I just research off the internet and then explain what I have learnt.

In all I think that this change is good, however it needs a common sense approach because some common subjects will have similar hubs without breaking any rules.

Luckily I'm a teenager so have quite a unique writing style so I hopefully won't have that problem.

Well, that's too young to be here. I've flagged the profile for the underage.

May I just ask why you seem so negative towards me?

I'm trying to write to the best quality I can, I'm trying to do something to further my learning and help me improve my essay writing, and hopefully give people something interesting to read.

He's not being negative.  This is a site for adults of 18 years or older.  I'm sorry, but you have to wait two years before you can write on here.  (As a side note, you should always read the ToS before agreeing to them.)

    Hi Ibsf1...

I think no matter the age...a writer is going to bring their own particular style to the game.  As for needing to be 18...you need to be 18.  I noticed that your profile page says that you are now...18?  Good luck in all your writing here...or here in two years...or anywhere.  Brittany is right about needing to read TOS stuff.
