What is your favorite at home exercise to perform?

Do you like to do pushups, squats, core work?

Core work. Dead weights, since it's difficult for women to have good upper body strength. That way my legs get done as well. Some squats while lifting some 10 or 15 pounds in each hand. But what really helps motivate me, is turning on the radio while I workout. And have an area devoted to getting in shape. For me it is a certain rug that I only practice on. Otherwise I don't even touch that rug.

If the weathers bad and I have to exercise at home I go for a session on the elliptical trainer followed by some strength training in the form of kettle bells or dumbbells with a gym ball.
I would have to say core strength is important to me, as it's core strength that supports our bodies when working out or just going about our daily activities. Also I want to stay physically strong as I age.

I love my elliptical.  I like to plug my head in and sing along with the music while I work out.  I find it helps with my breathing and stamina for musical performances :-)

I love my treadmill and I've had it for 12 years!  Other than that, I do a 20 minute set of pushups, reverse crunches and side planks with a twist.  I attend a strength/core class on Mondays and Fridays and usually do my own sets at home Wednesday evenings.

Your Shape Fitness Evolved on my xbox 360! Specifically the arm and ab workouts. I don't wanna be one of those women with the upper body strength of .... well... a woman.

I do a body weight circuit with push ups, v ups, jump squats and pull ups all performed continually for one set then 1 minute rest then 2 more sets. Great strength building and cardio work! ;]

I have a set routine of what I do once a day with the following:
    burpees- 5 sets of 20
    squats- 3 sets of 10
    crunches- 2 sets of 20
    sit-ups- 3 sets of 20
push ups- 3 sets of 10
jumping jacks- 2 sets of 50
    squats- 3 sets of 10
planks- 5 sets of 30 seconds each
    crunches- 2 sets of 20

I change the rotation around depending on how my muscles are responding, but generally go with this set.

My favorite at home exercise to perform is anything indoor or outdoor (outside the gym) using my own TRX (Total resistance exercise). I love it because it does both resistance and cardio with a strong focus on my core.

The kettlebell swing exercise is a very complete option for core work and will help your posture a lot; here is why:

I also do push ups, crunches and squats - but I feel like core work is the only thing I can really work efficiently from home. You can of course also go for a run if you want some fresh air...

    Hope that helps
