   Can neurological problems be treated naturally?
   
   I have had undiagnosed neurological problems for many years.  Since the doctors do not know exactly what is wrong their answer for my problems are medicines that seem dangerous in themselves.  Vitamin B is supposed to be good for the brain, but it makes my numbness and one-sided stiffness worse when I take it.  What natural remedies have you heard of for neurological problems?

   There are many options to help you.  First, have you had MRI's and radiographic films?  Its always good to find the cause.  Because I practice both, my first recommendation would be acupuncture or chiropractic medicine. 
   
   But there are many other natural remedies.  Exercise and physical therapy can help to strengthen you.  Taiji (Tai Chi) and Qigong can help to regulate the energy in your body.  Massage therapy is also good, along with essential oils.

   It all depends on the extent, and basis of your neurological problem. I suffered anxiety, for four years, until I found the right supplements for me. B-12 is the specific vitamin for numbness. It maybe taken in pill, or sublingual form. Your Doctor can give you B-12 shots. Found to be very effective for this condition. I have written an article on increasing memory, with websites to visit.       Just researched another supplement. Magnesium is also used for nerve and muscle function. It also has a calming effect on the body. Suggested dosage is 250-500mg per day. Above that you might experience loose stools.

   Some can, depending on what neurological problem it is. You can't treat severe depression or anxiety without medication if you want an example.

      I'm living proof that you can. I used natural treatments after being on Zoloft and Paxil for 4 years, only to be worse than when I started. Trytophan is the only substance that can produce serotonin, and gaba, and inositol relieve anxiety.
