What is your biggest wish this Christmas?
Is it to have a white Christmas? To see your family? To travel to your home country? To buy and decorate the Christmas tree? Or just hoping that organising all the Christmas food will get sorted on time? - interested to hear your thoughts!
I'm afraid it is neither of the above. My wish is to be thankful for our health and for me and my family to find work and come out of this serious economic crisis and depression that we are all in.
Sorry that it's not a very Christmasy answer but this year we can't afford Christmas.
That sounds lovely - it really is the most important thing to have your health and to be with your family.
To have a peaceful winter break, gain focus, prepare for the next year, and enjoy the holidays.
thanks Iburmaster, that's a really good list - same for me on all points.
My greatist wish is for my son and I to look each other in the eyes and profess our love to the point of bringing tears because the heart is so very touched.
sounds wonderful - hope you both will have a great Christmas!
My wish is that my daughter will have no new health issues. This year has been filled with many ups and downs and so to have her experience a lovely holiday season would be the fulfillment of my wishes ...all of them.
thank you pstraubie48, I hope both you and your daughter have a wonderful Christmas
It's not a wish for me, but for my son. I wish he could spend Christmas with his wife and 2 year old this year but he's been deployed again. This is his 3rd year away from his family for the holidays so he's missed out on so much. His joy would be my gift.
He's serving our country in a selfless way. God bless him! I wish her were home for you and your son, too! You are married to a very special man! Not many people love the world enough to do what he does.
I agree with bravewarrior, that is a very selfless thing that he's doing. Hopefully he can be with his wife and son very soon.
I wish Santa Clause would bring me a house. hohoho I have always wanted one but the older I get the less likely I will ever see that wish come true, unless Santa Clause sends someone on the path and leaves his cane behind. I hoped to have one before my children were grown and gone but my son is sixteen now so I'm running out of time and my daughter is 28 and already out of the house. I am returning to school in January and perhaps after I finish, I will be able to get a better job and get a house someday. Anyhow, that may not be a realistic wish but it's my biggest somewhat attainable wish. I dream of having a home large enough to have my grandsons come live with me with room for them to play in the yard with a couple of puppies and room for my son and his friends to come over and hang out and toss a ball in the yard.
I am sure you will and soon - it's all about striving for a goal:) hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Get a full time job with benefits. I would really like to get a full time job with benefits as a District Manager for a Merchandising Company where I could treat my employees as human beings.
with those values I am sure that you will attain a job soon - wish you all the best
Above all, I wish that I could see my daughters. As others in this hub, there are economic needs and things that are out of our control, but think about WHO Christmas is about! there is no limits!
That's very true, I hope you have a great Christmas.

Should people get so upset over being told Merry Christmas?Merry Christmas is supposed to be a respectful wish of good will to others. So should people take it to a level that it's not intended,as a derogative put down towards their individual faiths? Seems a silly misunderstanding to me but what...

After viewing the comments of almost every skeptic here and beyond. I’ve noticed that when they get into a tight corner or really want to get off topic they bring up Santa Clause. It happens 99% of the time. I get a chuckle every time, but another friend of mine has been collecting research...
