      Can someone please tell me what is the point of halloween? We live in a world where there are far more important issues demanding our attention than playing dressing up!
      Why not donate the money you would have spent on a costume to a charity or one of the disaster funds.
      This ridiculous media driven annual event is doing more harm to our generation than we realise.

   I decided on a costume just last night.  I'm going to be ringmaster, but with a gothic/burlesque/dark theme.  I bought the jacket with tails last night on eBay.  It's dark gray pinstriped.  I also bought the bowtie. It's red & black checkered.  I also bought the 6 ft. black leather whip. 
   
   I'm getting a satin top hat. I'm going to wait until the jacket arrives to decide if I'm going with a dark gray hat or black.  Most likely, it will be black since I plan to wear black slacks.
   
   I'm so excited.  This is a look I've never done.  I've been dressing up for Halloween all my life.  Luckily, every job I've had encourages it.  We have contests with prizes.

   I'm dressing up as a gangsta - big shirt, jeans, bling, winter hat, and foil to make me appear as if I'm wearing grills.

   I want to be a superhero this year. am tired of doing gothic and witches. I have seen and ordered ninja turtle costume I liked. I even wrote a hub on it. Will continue with my gothic next year if i dont like the costume i ordered

   I have no idea, which makes me mad, cause usually I already have my costume picked out and purchased by this point.  Don't even think I am doing anything for Halloween this year...think I have to work, so yeah, kinda bummed.  Halloween is my favorite holiday!!!
