What do you think is the most interesting thing for people to read about?
I think the most interesting things people read about is other people.. we have this fascination for other people's lives
This isnt a solid answer to your question, but i just suggest write relevant to your interests as opposed to trying to please the masses. Let your audience develop instead of trying to flatter their ears and eyes. But, if your interested solely in what others are interested in, try google's trending now. They will tell you what the hot searches are. But, personally I have a pretty small selection of interests I read in...solid Christian material, leadership, sports, some social issues..or something I am learning like right now SEO and web design and development esp using Drupal. hope it helps
Relationships. If you've ever had a close call with death, the last thing on your mind is the mortgage payment, paying off the credit cars, wondering if your will or trust will kick in, and answering to the boss. It's your relationships which count and make a difference in your life. At the last writing conference I attended, a popular agent said that most best sellers are fueled by and written about relationships. And in real life, we like to read about famous people's problems with their relationships and marriages. A national past time, you might say.
That is a loaded question to say the least. Interesting is simply what is of interest to you. On the majority, interesting would be what is happening now in the world, our world. People love to hear about people also.
Themselves!
Apparently my answer is too short but I really don't think you want to read any more so I'm leaving it as "Themselves"..nothing is more interesting than onself to oneself unless of course as Bette Middler once said: "That's enough of me talking about me. What do you think about me?.
Anything that is controversial and/or topical. I also agree with the person who said that people like to read about themselves. We are fascinated by people who are similar to us.
I think it depends on the person because everyone likes different things.
I think most people find reading about other people most interesting. Look at all of the popularity surrounding sites like E! News and TMZ. People love keeping up to date on other people and knowing what goes on in their daily lives (perhaps everyone is a little nosy).
I don't necessarily think there's a "most interesting," but I do think that people should be sure to read books that present differing cultures or experiences.
I remember reading "Hope and Other Dangerous Pursuits" by Laila Lalami. It changed my life. Books are small opportunities, each and every one. Some books offer opportunities to escape into worlds of magic and wonder or the 'small miracles' of the every day; but other books offer opportunities to stand in the shoes of others.
The former I enjoy, but the latter are the books I love. I think everyone can find something interesting in them!

Probably the best advice I could ever give anybody is not to write about what nobody cares about. So I was happy to see that the writing cooperative mentioned that in this article.https://writingcooperative.com/stop-wri … 09567c04f0The difficulty, of course, is knowing what people want to...

I get seriously ticked when I see that I have a new follower and then find out that "two minutes ago" they have signed up to follow 6 or 8 other hubbers. There is no way that anyone who does that can have read any of your material. It just happened to me and I sent an email...
