I listen to music and look at art. The rhythm, chord progressions, and mood of the music creates visual images that in turn lead to characters and plot sequence. Same with art or, more precisely, digitized art. I couple this with real-life events that are happening. For example, a digitized image of a woman with a gun coupled with a song, "Bargrooves: Cosmopolitan," created a plot about a sicaria -- or female Mexican cartel assassain -- who turned against her bloodthirsty employers after they wanted her to kill the very young and naive female police chief of a tough Mexican border town. There is such a police chief, Marisol Garcia, 20 years old, who took the job after everybody else was killed. Strange stuff.
