Bachman, with her "Repeal Obamacare" is just another crazy radical. Remember she was the one who called on people to STORM CAPITOL HILL to protest this legislation. THIS IS A VERY LOW-LEVEL ACTION

If she's so hateful of gvt., why doesn't she give back the $250,000 she took for her farm?
Guess it was OK for the tax-payers to help her out.
More of the same ol garbage...do as a I say, not as I do.

Corporations, "gentleman farmers", businesses all get help from the gvt....what exactly is private?
I can remember reading how we paid for cigarette companies to advertise overseas!
Paid for McDonalds to advertise overseas.
And I rememebr Rep. Dana Rorbacher railing on the floor of the House about how the city of Long Beach California's tax-payers had just paid for the overhaul of the Long Beach docks in order to facilitate the moving of companies and American jobs obverseas! He was livid.

I think they are angry because this time the federal gvt. will be helping normal working people, not the wealthy, or corporations, but just normal people.

Privitization has been the problem. imo.
They make profits on things people need to survive. Which means--no money, no survive. That is unconscionable.

I love her! One of the few in Washington with principles, and an understanding of the freedom guarantees in our constitution.

I want to know what they're drinking in Minnesota! I think Bachman and Stuart Small Franken are both loonies!! Glen Beck and Keith Olberman must have ancestors from the state, too.

I don't know what they are drinking but the Norwegians there eat something called lutefisk, worst thing I have ever smelled!

Great picture of Al Franken. Who is the other guy?

FYI, Habee, Al Franken is not only a funny comedian but will also be a good senator. He is very bright, a talented comedian and writer who is knowledgeable about public policy issues. Mentioning him in the same breath as Michele Bachman is a travesty. Bachman is crazy. Franken has a sense of humor but is serious about his job as a senator and perfectly sane.

Franken was NEVER funny! Ever! And the guy is out of his mind crazy! If you look lu lefty loon in the dictionary, you'll see his picture!

The other guy is Jesse Ventura, former governor of MN and former wrestler. And independent with a tin foil thinking cap!

Michele Bachmann is thoughtful, measured and astute. I don't know how anyone can even suggest she's crazy!

Thanks. Maybe I should try standup! A failed comedian, perhaps but I bet he'll be a successful Senator.

Give it a shot, I predict you would be as successful as Franken will be, which is to say not too much.

            Nothing personal.

LOL! Are you kidding?? Did you see him on Cspan?? He didn't even know what to do with the gavel!
I predict as a senator he'll be a hell of a lot funnier than he was on SNL!

A failed comedian? Ever watched Saturday Night Live?

Franken and Davis were recruited as two of the original writers (and occasional performers) on Saturday Night Live from 1975 to 1980 and again from 1985 to 1995, although in the latter case only Franken returned as a performer, while Davis usually stayed behind the camera. (From Wikipedia.)

Ralph, I believe I'm entitled to my opinion. I've seen clips of Franken on the senate floor, and I maintain that he's a raving loon.

Sab Ohposted 14 years agoin reply to this

That's not fair. He's not a loon, he's just a self-absorbed idiot in way over his head.

Mabye he should run for President...
