   not really, but I think that love is a big part of it.  Another thing about happiness is not worry about money and have lots of positive people around you.

   If you know you are loved and can love, the rest of life's troubles become much more bearable.
   
   I'm sure you can be happy without love.  I thought I was.  But with love I am much happier. . .
   
   And love comes to you quicker if you love.  Don't wait for it to find you.  Love begets love.  If you want it, give it. 
   
   No matter what your state of happiness, with love, you will be happier.

   These days it seems as though love is a word that everyone uses to get your ATTention.  "I Love YOu"....is used and thrown around so randomly, you will always hear it but never experience it.  Mostly by people who want to control or manipulate you so that you feel they are on your side.  From people who seek forgiveness, or some times from people who have no shame even though they have done you wrong.  Maybe even sometimes from those who feel they can provide whatever confidence they feel you lack through "words of power", thinking they have done what was needed to make you  feel "safe".  Since the majority of things,people and truths reside in the clouds or is currently covered by smoke or dark clouds.  I'd say your best bet is to achieve happiness through you. That is the first step you need take to perfect whatever is pure as well as has value and worth and all of the above will gravitate towards you providing "love" and happiness in its purest form minus word or definition!

   Not through romance, not through affection, not through affinity, not through compatibility, not through like-mindedness, not through like - but through love, yes. The trouble is we don't know what love actually is - we are individual beings, but we are relational beings . . . love is the thing, the mechanism, the truth that unites us together. Authentic Christianity tells us that when a couple is joined together in love, God counts them as one . . . not as two individuals that are really, really close, but as one creature. The whole point of Christianity, the whole story of the Bible, the whole message of the gospel is the work of God in uniting us together and uniting us to Himself . . . and He tells us the how this unity is manifested - "love, the perfect bond of unity". Love provides not merely happiness, but joy and peace and rest.
