   What sounds better to you: Good luck or God bless?
   
   In my opinion Christians use the term "Good luck!" why too much! Is it a phrase that Christians should us at all?

   God bless as I do not believe in luck! I think we are products of our own choices and efforts and luck has nothing to do with anything at all. It is up to us to work hard, make the right decisions even if the going gets tough, and know through it all God is with us.

   For me, it's God bless... Luck is just a luck, you're not sure what will really happen, what if you're not lucky enough? Better to always say God bless, because God really cares for us.

   Whenever anyone says "Good Luck" to me I always answer, "Luck is from Satan... But blessings are from God."
   One man answered me back and said, "Then how do you know whether you have LUCK or BLESSINGS?"  I answered him by saying,  "That's easy, Who's your daddy?"

   Doesn't matter.  if someone sends you off with a positive sentiment uttered in sincerity, then that is kind of them, and you should take their positive vibe and try to do well with it.  Good Luck!  God Bless!

   'God bless' has a spiritual connotation to it, that I believe 'good luck' misses out on. Yes, 'good luck' could refer to the belief in karma 'what goes around comes around' mentality, but 'good luck' is very superficial. More people say 'good luck' rather than 'God bless' because as Christians we don't want to seem as though, in a way, we are trying to project our beliefs onto another. 'Good luck' has become more universally accepted, even amongst Atheists.

   There are occasions where I say 'God Bless' and there are occasions where I say good luck.
   
   Some times I am mindful that the word luck has an association with Satan, that is - 'Old Lucky' - yet, it is an expression of good will.
   
   I personally like God Bless the best because I am old enough to remember the Red Skelton Show. He would always sign off with "Good night, and God bless".

    Well, I would have to say "Good Luck" sounds better to me because not everyone believes in God. I just find it more polite and less intrusive.

    As a minister of the gospel my choice is of course “God Bless.”  For me, it has more to it than just sound.  Even if you hold no belief in God you must concede that those who do believe find Him to be deliberate in nature.  Luck is random and stems from chance… it may be good or it may be something else.  God, for those of us who believe, is a God of order, truth, and perfect good and urging His blessings is a positive thing that always carries with it a benefit for those who receive it.

    I like to say God bless, but I also often say good luck. To me when I say "good luck" I am not really wishing the person actual luck, but merely trying to be polite and encouraging using a phrase people are familiar with. I don't believe in luck and I feel like the phrase good luck has more to do with wishing someone well than actually wishing them "luck".

    Wow I have been looking for someone with this great mindset. Through my study of the scriptures i found out that nowhere in the bible does God talk about luck. And if look at it closely you will realize that its not from God., because you can have good luck or bad luck and nothing bad comes from God. So if you are born again never use that term,you are a BLESSED person so live that way!

    I prefer "God bless" instead of "Good luck" because luck is still taking a chance whether it is good or bad. When you wish someone "good luck" you are saying in essence,,,"Take a chance and go" or "Take a chance and do." But when you say, "God bless" you are leaving it up to God to bless in the manner that He sees fit.
    
    Therefore I often say "God bless" instead of "Good luck" because I don't believe in luck. I believe in a sure thing...that God will never leave us nor forsake us.

    I dislike both. "Good luck" really means that you're not willing to contribute in any way to the person's life or attempts at success, and are in fact parting ways, but still don't wish to acknowledge the possibility that you're abandonning someone. "God Bless" suggests the person to whom you're speaking is so thoroughly screwed that only the Almighty Himself could possibly bail said person out of their pickle. As you see, neither is something I would wish to hear.

    Being someone who has gone through the metamorphosis, called in Christianity the new birth, I see "god bless" and "good luck" as equals.  Because my new birth required me to do what Isaiah 7:14-16 is believed to be what Jesus did, I have, as he did, forsaken the 2 kings over the abhorred land of death, god and devil, since verse 22 say everyone who survives the tribulation must do what Jesus did in verses 15 & 16. 
    
    Once reborn we begins as a child one has to grow into adulthood again like the tadpole, after its metamorphosis it still has to grow into frog adulthood, therefore, everyone who goes through the spiritual rebirthing has to do the same as the christ child and I am a 28 year adolescent after 36 years of being reborn. 
    
    Because of that awareness, I will say thank you to both while realizing everything any one does is their destiny, they do no good nor evil, they only follow their life's requirement the law or "reaping and sowing" or "karma" has them preforming.  That is necessary because as Paul said, "the law is a school master," we are on earth to experience every attribute every life type on earth experiences before we are able to obtain the "dominion powers" (Genesis 1:26 & 28) Jesus demonstrated to qualify us to enter the "true" promise land.

       is 7:15-16 has nothing to do with the end time. Those whose name Jesus has written in the book will not have to do anything at judgment, they will enter eternity. you present a false and twisted doctrine . We live in NT age not OT, Jesus is Lord now

    there is a big difference in the two.    Good luck is for those that do not follow God, they need it, because God can not bless them.    His blessings are for His children, His wrath is for those that have rejected Him
    God bless you is for children of God through Christ, because they are able to be blessed by God.
    
    I do not want to partake of  the sins of another by asking God to bless them in it.

       onb-- no true, God says there are two kinds of people on earth  Children of God (will inherit the earth) & children of men (to be destroyed).  Last time He cleansed the earth He destroyed all but 1 (way less than 1/10%), next time will be like %.

       Scripture says that, not god. God says in Isaiah 45:7 (KJV) "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." God has made it so man can't understand for ITS own purpose.

       onb-  you do not understand,  God says I can understand ALL things if I let the Holy Spirit teach me I am baptized in HIS Spirit so I can.    We do not live under the OT, we live in the age of Christ, He is Lord now.

       After John 3:2-8, Celafoe, Matthew 8:19-22, 19:29 and 28:19-20 is the way "through" Jesus to god. If one hasn't followed those scriptures and say Jesus is their lord they lie to themselves for they have not of Isaiah 28:9.
