Success to me is knowing you have given your all to help in some small way fellow human beings.
Loving what I do, and making lots of money doing it.
I've got the first part down. Not so much with the money part.
being happy. money is easy to make but happiness is another story.
Sucess to me is achieving my goals... whether that be committing to read one book every week for a year... planting a fruit-full garden.. or making £10k every month... the success part is the 'attainment' and 'maintainence' of my goals.
Success is doing the best I can do at something that I love.
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
Sir Winston Churchill
British politician (1874 - 1965)
So far as this website is concerned, success would be, for me, joining the thousand dollars a month club - income from Google Adsense. I'm nowhere near that.
Knowing you have set your goals, done everything in your power (short of magic & I hear it does happen) to achieve those goals and, be satisfied with the outcome. If it doesn't work to plan then change the plan don't be hard on yourself and start the process again. Basically, being able to recognise when you have achieved something and move on to a new set of goals.
Success is achievement. Every single thing that I do in life, when I have achieved it, it is success. Like when I was teaching my kids in their education and they scored in their examinations, that is my success. Or when I am doing a project and finally I got everything working, that is my success.

What are your thoughts on Divine Justice? There are a group of people who want to blame or praise God for certain natural events that have happened. Many people blamed Katrina on the morality of New Orleans. I am not arguing this particular theology (although I disagree with it) I am now wondering...

If you could design a perfect world, what would it be like? There are no limits, create your own perfect world. Who would be in it, what would it be like? What would you leave out from the current world? Feel free to write a hub about it.

Just curious to get people's reactions, opinions, insight, knowledge or wisdom, so as to see if a barrier I see actually exists. The barrier? Is the ignorance(lack of knowledge) behind making them the same thing, when clearly they are not.Anyone want to take a shot at it?Knowing&BelievingThe...
