   If you had the chance at eternal youth would you take it? Why?
   
   What would you do with that endless amount of time? Do you believe that there is a certain order to all things when it comes to life and death?

   I wouldn't take it because all my friends would be growing old and me having constantly to find new people. But the question is hypothetical and conjectural. I would like at it from a different way: You are born, go into different stages of life and die to make your maker. The point is to do good in this life.

   No, because my son would grow old before me and that is not how life should be. I am living my time now, and when the Creator calls me home, so I will go, having filled  my reason for being in the world.

   Definately I would take it but my biggest worry would be that I might get bored. Think of the things you could accomplish. I would go back to school and use my infinite knowlege to help solve the problems of the world. We are living longer and longer every generation so it may not be out of the question to live up to age 200 within the next 300 years.

   Adam in the Bible lived 960 years. I wonder what that would be like. I guess if I had a bank account that never ran out so that I never had to worry I might try it.

   I agree with Dave and in addition to this I believe that every single thing in this world has an end so does the life. I would like to live short and happy life rather than boring long life

   No, because I like who I am today.  I prefer to have the lessons I've learned, and the knowledge and wisdom I have today.  I don't want to be that silly, naive, person I was. I'm looking forward to life, so I don't want to be stuck in one time period and not have the chance to change and grow.

   I would not........"life and ORDER aside".......I would not be eternally young.
   
   I would choose rather to be experienced and wise.
   
   In my youth, I was a mother........
   
   My children ratteled my nerves with their mischief.
   Going to the cabinet, pulling out the pots, pans, serving dishes as if they were toys!   Painting, drawing, coloring on the walls...........they were always into 'something'.
   
   
   Today, in front of my grandchildren.........
   
   
   how smart they must be to entertain themselves with such simple things!
   
   how clever they are, to take a tool and make it a device for learning and entertainment.....( a toy)
   
   
   Then........I wished the childhood of my children away......and it came to pass
   
   Today, I wish to hold my grandchildren, small, and young.........but they too, will grow and mature.........they are already doing so.
   
   
   One day, when I am truly old, I hope to sing: perhaps to great-grand-children
   
   Gather around children, gather around
   sit at my knee
   I will tell you a story
   of how life used to be.........
   Sit, now, here around my skirttail,
   As I tell you of this wail.
   
   
   I had no such story in my "youth"!
   
   Though, I could have told you of a sad and  tragic childhood........
   
   The story, I can , now tell them, is far better and more interesting.

    i believe many people would(me included) but after about 20 to 50 years of been young.....by then you must have tried and done almost everything possible.....boredom will set in....the pain of losing loved ones and you been the last man standing.....you have a new goal...and that'll be to kill yourself....the idea is cool in the beginning but sucks towards the end

    No, I will not take it.
    Because that would mean going through the same things over and over, an endless cycle. If and when it happens, then I would no longer be living but merely existing.

    Yes!, because with that i will be able to live many different lives with many different people. I wonder how would it feel to be a programmer in a lifetime, then you will start another lifetime as a doctor, a mariner, a basketball star, a scientist, a priest, a politician etc. I will be able to know, help and touch a lot of people's lives.

    I would only take the chance at eternal youth, if I could somehow build a community of equally long-lived people. The hardest thing to deal with, I think, would be the loneliness. You know, if you're interested, I did write a hub about this in response to a very similar question.
