Is it possible that we're all God?
Could we have come here to test ourselves, or create, or just have fun doing whatever we want?
It will be interesting to see who answers this question and how. As for me, I have a problem with the whole pantheistic viewpoint. If we are all "God," then it would follow that, as the human race expands in population, the collective deity would be thinned out amongst everyone, creating an ever diminishing god-presence. Also, as we are unable to prove our own existence as that deity, it nullifies the omniscience. We also continuously fail on an intellectual, moral, ethical, and existential level, proving that we are far from omnipotent. Seeing as how the very definition of God is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent... if we are God, we make up a rather poor excuse for one. Of course, this is just an opinion, and not meant to be a thesis statement, so please do not take my meandering thoughts as anything more than what they are.
I don't know about the first question. The remaining three I say 'yes' to all three, yet much, much more. Oh yeah, your second blog entry is awesome. Too much to digest sort to speak. The video is still stuck in my memory swapping between virtual memory and RAM. Processing is good, just that 1024k is slow for bunches of data. Great metaphor, eh?
I like the pic above. That would be nice on a hub. My association would be the receptacle held in hand being examined is the concept of the finite universe held by the mechanics of science seeking knowledge or how to prove g(G)od does or does not exist. This contrasts comparatively with the robot configuration of life or composition of self being a socialized process. We are programmed, even though each is in fact a unique program likened only to the 'self.'
What is liberating is the unseen potential of both the artist and the observer of the work of art. The associated meanings are present and fluid in dynamics with each observer. Meaning is discovered through communication or the seeking of 'togetherness' between those, being the artist, the observer(s) and the observed.
Just early morning pondering as my friend Fred feeds on the man-made nectar in the hummingbird feeder, then hops over to the flowering sage for the real stuff.
Smile, remember to smile and have fun, fun, fun , , ,
(footnote: Define here. How many dimensions does 'here' have in this topic? I say as many as there are readers and is further defined by comments. Here is 'here' isn't it?
That is impossible. If that were true there would be no suffering in the world and everyones bank accounts would be filled with more money than they could ever spend.
If we were all God, then we could have easily chosen to experience pain or poverty....even if only to experience SOMETHING (remember, we're omnipotent and omnipresent, limitless and infinitely abundant). We also would have pre-imposed the carnal limitations we now call failure "on an intellectual, moral, ethical, and existential level". There would be no such thing as "thinning" the infinite, just maybe perhaps our perception of it. What if it was ALL planned! Couldn't all the mysteries at the highest ends of physics mean just that?
We all were created to be sons and daughters of God. Manifestations of latter are freedom of choice and capability to acquire knowledge of God's creation with much success, but we are not Gods...little gods maybe.
Energy is the prime constant. I am in the universe and the universe is in me. All of creation is The ocean turns into raindrops, raindrops turn into ocean. We are all gods...Jesus said so. Book of John. If you can find a human who is equal to creation...worse than looking for a needle in a haystack...then . Marturion, your statement would be true, or at least logical. No such person exists. The general population , the consciousness or soul thereof, has existed from the foundation. In short, entities are waiting in the wings, in which case the proportions of God are unchanging. The description of God is in lockstep with the description of energy, as in E=MC2. Everything is a manifestation of energy, including consciousness. Consciousness must be included in the equation, because consciousness exists. This also means that we can't exclude the possibility of consciousness at any level.
If you're speaking about a unity split amongst endless dividends, then yeah; albeit the ego, ignorance and arrogance found within those tiny bits, are similar to amino acids fighting infections, so go figure... Everything else leads to long answers, religions, love, hate, and hopeless romantics and fanatics that sway from ney to yay with a superfluity of verbiage, when concerning this question. Blah, blah; we are the eyeballs and/or observers, among the many beings out there, of the universe (with or without sight, as long as you have sensory perception and are alive with thoughts), and it takes both to tango...being the universe and the observers/players, that is found therein; fun-fun...
I think we are gods. I think we are all smaller energies connected into one big energy if that makes sense?
yes it is possible, We are body it is true, but the question is who is a unknown driver
of our body? After death body can't move, we have to burn the body, other wise body will smell badly like weasted vegetables. When we alive who will make ourselves alive? Again unknown driver. Who is he? He is our soul. When the soul come out from body we will die. Bodily we are different with each other, namely we are different. Our unknown driver is one , he is only soul, soul is nothing but a god, a powerful light. because of that Sai baba used to call us Divyatma swarupa.

Most victims of COVID-19 are dying separated from family and loved ones. My question is what is the first thing that God says to these individuals? I tried to put myself in the place of God, how would I console these individuals that I let die alone, sick and separated from their family? I'm said...

After all the claims made by biblical religionists that the biblical god is all of the above, none of this god's actions seems to fit these lofty roles. For example, the biblical god has to be worshiped, which hardly seems to be an omni-anything trait and not worthy of any leader of men. I decided...

Jesus Said "The Kingdom Of God Is Within You" Isn't That The Same As Saying God Is Within You?

If the Christian god is omnipotent then why would it need to order the murder of it's son so that it can forgive? No Christian can answer this because it is utter nonsense. But I challenge any christian to give it a try.
