    The true God is not omnipresent, for he is spoken of as having a location.  Solomon requested that if his people pray to him that he would hear from the heavens, his established place of dwelling. (1 Kings 8:49)

    Omnipresence means he is everywhere at once, an all-pervading spirit. That would gender a view that everywhere everything is a part of him.  That is not so, because his invisible presence is perceived by the things made.  He could choose to be there, but probably not unless it’s to accomplish his will.

    He is a person, and he has a place.  His place of residence is also where he can be approached.  Do you know how to approach him?  You pray, Our Father in the heavens, hollowed be thy name.  (Matthew 6:9, 10)
