What is Scripture?

Here's my take: sacred texts that speak of Something synonymous to the nature of Happiness or Love; the principles to practice, in order to arrive at or merge in this Consciousness or Spirit. They tend to come from men and women with direct experience from within, who all speak of this Inner Source. Some examples are The Guru Grant Sahib of the Sikhs; The Dharmapada of the Buddhists; The Bible of Christianity; Koran of Islam; Torah/Talmud of Judaism; Vedic literature including Bhagavad Gita of the Hindus and many more. Keeping the spirit of Love and tolerance in mind, what are your thoughts?

Quite true. All in the interest of Order, but Peace also with a capital 'P'. Why would you want to live in a Society with constant pain? How would you not be affected if it's all around you? Most of us say that even the office has its woes.

You would find that Ramakrisha, Buddha, Christ and Krishna, all gave instructions. I myself awoke simply by reading a book in 1982. Still, Bro, your point about Code is valid, too. I'm just looking at a different angle, as mentioned, that's all.
