Jesus was a man and according to the Bible tempted in every way, as we are all tempted. My...
question do you think Jesus every wanted to marry and have children or ever have the desire to have sex or passionately kiss a woman? The Bible is silent on any of this.
I believe the answer is no. Jesus was God in the flesh, in human form. The bible speaks of God and Jesus as the Father, Son and the holey spirit all as one. Jesus being God in the flesh was perfect and without sin and was sent to earth for the purpose of salvation. Jesus could not have sinned because he was God and God is without sin.
Woah! Who the heck said Marriage is a sin? Why do you believe that Jesus was never married? The Bible does not teach that the Lord was never married, but simply makes no explicit mention of it.
Yeah the bible is silent on this because they probably didn't think of it as important enough to mention it. It doesn't say married or unmarried. Supposed to have marriage and kids according to Bible - yes? If he was unmarried - then that would've probably seemed a little odd and would've probably mentioned it.
In the The Gospel of Philip, Mary is called JC's partner, koinonos. - and did kiss her on the mouth.
Jesus in the form of man while on earth, was probably tempted with the carnal temptations, marriage children etc. I believe He put serving God and His Godly Ministry ahead of all of this though and focused on what He had promised Almighty God He would do in order to redeem mankind from sin.
The Bible answered your question when it said Jesus was tempted in all ways just likew us.....The reason He did not give in to those usrges as we do is because He is the Son of God and He walked so closely to The Father that He never gave in to His temptations and because He was so filled with the Holy Spirit He could not sin.
As zzron wrote, Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. You have to also understand that if Jesus would've had sexual relations with a woman, then his children would've also been divine in nature, and this was not the plan of God. The Bible says that the first Adam was made of the earth earthy, and the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit. If Jesus would have had sexual relations with a woman, then this could not have been the truth, because he (Jesus, or 'the last Adam') would not be the last per se, there would have been more thereafter.
The answer is:No. Jesus did not have sexual relations with a woman. Did he ever think of it? That remains unanswered. We are not Jesus, so we cannot say either way. Being that he was of a divine nature, I'd lean more towards saying, "No." Simply because he was literally God in the flesh, leaving you with the obvious question; "Would you marry your own creation?"
Many people believe that Jesus was God in human form.
He supposedly came down here to show us how to live.
Following this logic I would have to assume in order to live as a man he would have had to face the same temptations as any other man in order to get his followers to believe it was possible to emulate him.
If on the other hand we just saw him as god and he was never tempted by anything nor had the same desires as man which may require being controlled then his lessons would be less effective. Without God truly experiencing life as a man it would be impossible for man to believe he could live his life as God wants.
God came down as man to lead by example.
In many ways the story of Jesus is a version of the current hit show on CBS called "Under Cover Boss".
He came to live among us to experience our joys, pains, sorrow, and temptations. People tend to respect teachers and mentors who have walked in their shoes.
Ignoring all the physco babble the answer simply put is yes of course he was tempted. The bible is very clear on this. Did he succumb. No. that is the point. To be the perfect sacrifice he had to the the lamb without blemish. The death of a sinner would have purchased nothing.

Why do you suppose it is silent? If it were at all important it would be there.

Has these titles, which are often used to describe Christ's relationship with God, been taken out of context? Or do you honestly believe that Jesus Christ is God's son? I wonder, can a person still be a Christian, and yet believe that Christ is not the son of God? What are your...

...when Jesus clearly said 'My Father is Greater than I' in John 14:28?Nothing can be greater than God, so by Jesus' own words, we can deduce that Jesus did not profess to be God, because he professes that there is a power Greater than him (Jesus). Why then do many Christians firmly believe that...

Salvation is free for all, regardless of your religion, faith, country of origin, your ethnicity, cast, creed or your language, it is free for all. Jesus paid the price. Just believe that Jesus came to this world, died for our sin and resurrected on the third day. He paid the...

Hi friendsMirza Ghulam Ahmad 1835-1908 has given many proofs from the Bible; that Jesus did not die on the Cross. One such proof is as follows:Let it be noted that though Christians believe that Jesus (peace be on him) after his arrest through the betrayal by Judas Iscariot, and crucifixion -- and...

I've heard that Mormons believe Jesus is from space. Is that true?
