When you get a bunch of people that follow certain tenets, they begin following other agendas, whether in in an older generation or in more recent years. It doesn't take much to fuel the fires of religious anger, just a few zealots and some followers.
The sheep are the problem. They are not capable of thought.
What should the sheep do? What is your advice? How can we save ink, paper and toner?
My advice to the sheep is to not let yourself follow the flock. Become a squirrel and hold onto your nuts.
Or brains, but I don't think they know how to trust their own. Otherwise we wouldn't be going in so many circles with these people, they are resistant to change and thinking independantly.
There are some breeds of sheep that have very long wool. Then it's easy for the unscrupulous shepherds to pull the wool over their eyes.
Where you have the wolves, who don't have long wool over their eyes, because many of them have crew-cuts and nice white shirt, tie and slacks, then they will always be telling the truth, won't they. Won't they?
There are but a few "Human Natures" for us to choose from ...
And we ALL fall into one catagory or the other.
We are ALL sheep of many different colors.
What is your favorite color according to somebody?, you are the wrong color.
Tell a fly to mate with a mosquitoe... There's always going to be the right people, there won't always be the right reason.
And the right people will always be pointing at someone else with a wrong reason. having each other in their sights.
Religon = Countless Wars (including 9+ Crusades during the Middle Ages), witch hunts and killings, The Spanish Inqusition, slaughter of American Indians including the Inca, Aztecs and Mayans, bigotry and discrimination, domestic terrorism, etc.

I've often been accused of being arrogant, and it's usually by people who disagree with me about something. I've noticed that some of my favorite historical personages have also been accused of arrogance. What exactly is arrogance? And is it always bad?Is there any non-pejorative way to say that...

Is watching porn movies and looking at nude pics always a bad thing to do? My older long time boyfriend seems to really enjoy it. Sometimes it bothers me other times I could care less. Is it a form of cheating? Mixed emotions here.

Why is death such a bad thing? Who decides that death is a bad thing? Is this an innate fear, a media invention, or combination? Shouldn't we all look forward to death? Not in the sad suicide, unhealthy way. But perhaps in a different, more productive way?

Is letting your child watch too many movies a good thing or a bad thing?

Why does everyone want to stay young?I, for one, am looking forward to aging. It will come in due time, and I wlil be able to experience life and nature's laws in their truest form, instead of fighting them. Why this war against aging? It's another way of saying aging is a bad thing....it's really...
