Does anyone know where to protest the new AIRLINE Seating CHARGES?
I just saw on the news that the latest way for Airlines to make more medicine is to charge $35 or more for aisle and window seats.
I mean, REALLY!
What about families that want or need to travel together" Does a Dad or Mom now have to pay extra to sit beside their child? Does a person with a bladder problem need to pay $35 so they don't have to crawl over other passengers?
How do we get back to a Flight ticket with an airline where everyone buys the same priced ticket and can bring their bag aboard, if it fits in the overhead, and if they want more, they can reserve it earlier?
Perhaps the only way to protest this is to not fly those airlines. Carriers can do whatever they want...but it doesn't mean they will get the business they want. I don't believe voicing opinions via email, letters, phone-calls help. It's our behaviors that speak the loudest and not flying those airlines might be the way to go.
Remember Molly Katchpole, of Washington, D.C., and the way she stopped Bank of America's debit card fees? Bank of America lost several customers before she was done with them. She started an online petition. I don't know how to do that but I know the electronic signatures need to be valid. Something to think about. I think she did it to Verizon also.
