That's so sweet and reminds me of a country song, "I'll Be Your Honeybee" Sounds like a pretty smart cat.
Love the fact you adopted him from PAWS and it just goes to show you that some things are meant to be. Sounds like a genius to me, after all he knew when he had found a good home and did what he needed to do to stay there:)
He's my genius. Yes I think he knew right away. When me and my son went and looked at dogs he stood out to both of us. He would run up to the bars of his cage and wag his tail and was just totally noticable. He made a great first impression on us.
That is so awesome how she has her own pet cat and looks after it. You should shoot some video and write a hub about it or send it to one of the funniest video shows. Thanks for sharing.
I agree! I'd read it! I'm sure you'd get a lot of traffic to a hub like that. It's unique and people love stories like that.
I have a friend whose dog is obsessed with a laser light and when they put it in the drawer will sit there and stare at it for hours until they get it out. I don't know about yours but he is obsessed.
My dog is obsessed with them too and torches. We keep the torches in the kitchen drawer and he seems to know the sound of that particular drawer. when anyone opens that specific drawer he'll bolt to the kitchen!
Can you post a link to the hub, I would love to read about it? I think most pets train us as much as we do them:)
Here's the link. Enjoy!
Read it, loved it , and thank you. It's amazing how more and more I am learning how others are being trained or taught by out pets. What a wondrous world we live in to be so blessed. Thanks again for the link I really enjoyed it.
Just one rock, sounds like one of mine. Oh well, it's fun trying to train them.:)
My dog is a Jack Russell Terrier Mix, btw.
I totally agree they are a lot smarter than we think. I wonder sometimes if they don't really want us to know just how smart they are??????
What is so funny about my little dog is when I use the bathroom by the back door, she will sometimes be outside the door when I get through! It's like she's waiting her turn to use it, LOL!!!! I will say, "Your turn!", LOL!!!!
Sounds like you have had quite the mixture. My dogs eat horse pooo all the time. Yuck.....
Ohhhhh I can't stand that when pets are hurt because owners don't have the patience or knowledge to train them. I'm also more of a dog, (well dog and horse) person.
I think adopted dogs make better pets because they want so badly to find that good home.
Wow from one extreme to the other, but it sounds like they make a pretty good pair. I have 5 dogs and 4 of them are pretty smart. But one, well lets just say he's not the brightest bulb on the planet.
