how do you get a chocolate lab puppy 8 months old to stop eating orchewing it up when you sleep like my sons eyeglasses and my hair dryer

I have a miniature Shih tzu X Maltese puppy (girl). She is 3 months old.Both ears were down. Last week I notice one ear is up. This is not a normal characteristic of this breed (from what I've read). Is this normal?
