Not all cats like cat nip. At least 30% of cats do not even respond, The rest of them are programmed to respond to cat nip. Cat nip- also known as cats worm and cat mint is a plant ( Nepeta Cataria ) of the mint famly having leaves containing aromatic oils. Some cats go crazy, licking, biting, scratching, rolling, rubbing, jumping, some make funny meow sounds. For some cats when they smell it, it works like a Aphrodisiac.
