What breed of dog would you not recommend...
for having around children?
Though there are many pros and cons I would say a Rottweiler. They really are a very moody dog (my brother had one) and you just never knew what it would do next, very unpredictable annd even scared my 4 kids and the better half a few times too. My brother told me if it senses fear even a little it will play on that fear. Sorry but for me unuh no devil dog ever came into my house, and to this day that type gives me the wilies.

I agree. I knew a few Rotty's and never got the feeling that I could trust them. I would never have one around my daughter.
