Does anyone else have a cat (or has seen a cat) with a bean-like growth on the paw?
My cat has had a growth on his front paw for many years. It looks like a purplish brown bean. Many years ago one vet popped it and it seemed like a blood blister. The vet I see now never seems concerned about it. Just wondering what it is! These days it is getting bigger and now looks like a smaller growth on top of the original growth. It doesn't seem to bother my cat but I sure would like to know if anyone else out there has seen one their cat.
No, but if it is causing problems for the poor cat or concerning you I would get it checked out by a vet. Any growth is best checked out really. It could be that the cat is not bothered and all is fine but it may be sinister or it may affect how the car walks which may be affecting muscles and tendons, which could have long term implications to you - not to mention vet bills.
This is my opinion only, I am not a professional.
