Everyone id busy creating memes but rarely anyone makes or does anything for social upliftment.
Memes are usually made for the sake of comedy. Comedy helps to lift one's spirits.
Therefore, memes are already doing something for social upliftment (is that even a word?).
There are plenty aspirational and ideological meme pictures.
They just don't get popular because people would rather spread the funny ones.
