What's your favorite tools to use in art and why?
This includes anything having to do with coloring, shading, digital art. You name it, just as long as it's your favorite art tool.
I ask this because I'm looking to learn about other artforms and other artist's takes on art.
I color now and then. So, the tools are my colored pencils of course. Other than that I do use a blender pencil with some illustrations.
Hi Cleo, I use coloured pencils, markers. paints and brushed. Ink for some mixed media. When i travel i use a colouring book with markers to keep from getting bored. I haven't done much with grapic art yet but I would like too. It's been awhile but I also like to use charcol and pastels. Thank you for asking. what do you use and why?
I just got a new drawing tablet, so I've been really trying to improve with that as of the late. Other than that, I love using pens and oil/chalk pastels. I've tried charcoal, but not extensively. Thank you for such an interactive answer!! c:
Depends on my mood. Sometimes I like doing photography - I grab my camera and go out with friends, usually a forested area - and we have fun exploring, talking and taking pictures.
Sometimes I just straight up draw with a pen on my paper - that's usually (lately) been on my school notebooks when I'm bored. heh. (my favorite traditional art form is micron pens + watercolor. They mix and match so beautifully!).
Other times I do digital art - with photoshop, anything from font design to stylized characters.
But my favorite (and the one I'm a pro at) is 3D. We're talking softwares like blender, autodesk maya. 3ds max, etc.
The more you know, the more you explore.
The best fields to go into if you're looking for a possible job is digital/3d art. You can work for 2d animations, design/marketing, or 3d/gaming/film.

Who is your favorite artist and why?I love Piet Mondrian. I like the clean lines and blocks of color in his later works. His style appeals to my organized nature. I could never look at a Jackson Pollack all day.
