I had always loved Mercedes in my life. Though I never got to ride it.
But now I've started to feel for BMW. All that sturdy and sleek models make me feel more and more to some day own one.
But still the question will it be a Mercedes or a BMW.
What is your take on it?
To me I wouldn't buy either one. I cannot see paying the money they want for either, regardless of how they are made or where either one is made.
I've owned one BMW and two Mercedes.
(Not at the same time!).
The BMW was sooo fun to drive. A manual 5 speed. I miss the road trips but it's a killer in city traffic.
But for a smooth ride and classic styling with a ton of safe steel around you, I vote for Mercedes.
As for the price of these cars, I have never and would never buy a new one!!!
They are timeless in their design.
I drive a 2003 E class and people are always assume it's much newer. I just smile.
They would be shocked (I think) to know what I paid for it. Much less than their Honda Accord, that's for sure.
Mercedes are staid luxury for old men, for pure luxury and superb performance a BMW is the biz. My business took me all around the UK and Europe and the last ten years of it was in a BMW735 - safe and exciting.

How does it feel to get older? If I fear anything, it's getting older. For those of you who are already 40 + or even 60 + how is it vs. when you were in your 20's.
