Do you prefer to drive an automatic transmission car or a stick shift?
I prefer a manual transmission as it allows me to hypermile more easily.
For convenience, you can't beat an automatic; that's why they were invented. However, everyone should learn to drive a stick. Manual transmissions lose much less power from the engine to the wheels, require less maintenance, and offer better gas mileage. If you're preparing for the zombie apocalypse, go with a stick.
Automatic...Unless I am driving a high performance sports cars.
Although I learned to drive on a car with a manual transmission, I prefer to drive a car with automatic transmission. Driving a car with an automatic transmission leaves my hands free to do all the things I'm not supposed to be doing while driving, lol - talking on the phone, texting when at a red light, putting on lipstick or mascara, eating, drinking (non alcoholic), tuning the radio, looking up directions on the GPS, etc.
