Article Marketing - Placing Articles for Squeeze Page Traffic

Updated on May 21, 2012

When we are selling or promoting a product we tend to want to get people to a “squeeze page” This is a page that is right before the actual purchase or selling page that we use to entice them for additional information (email, name, etc..) When you create a squeeze page to link to the affiliate site that you are promoting you want to be able to drive quality traffic to it. One way to do this is through the use of article marketing. When you place high quality original articles in various places all over the internet you are creating authority, in addition, to back links to your pages. Not only will you generate traffic c to your pages you will continue to drive traffic to your pages for months or years. As long as that article is up their wit back links people will continue to find it.

Article Marketing Tips:

Article marketing is pretty easy to do. Here, are a few of the most important tips you can use to get the most out of your article marketing.

• Always submit high quality original articles. Never copy the same article over and over you will just be competing with yourself.

· The article should help summarize what is on your squeeze page. It takes that information that is currently on there and condenses it into much smaller enticing pieces.

• Having several articles pointing to your website helps your credibility. You can talk about the information you provide which you can use to gain trust with your potential clients. People use the interment to search for information. Give them the information they are searching for, and a way to execute a solution to that problem.

•The great thing about the internet is you do not need to be the world’s best writer. There are hundreds of places out on the web that you can outsource projects to freelance writers. However, if you are expecting serious quality articles you will need to pay for it.

Successful Article Marketing Secrets:

There are many places to place these articles on the web. There are tons of innovations like hubpages, squidoo, and other directories that contain huge amounts of original content. Writing articles for these places and others are sure to get you the right backlinks that you are searching for. There are new places that Google and other major search engines provide authority. So, doing a little bit of extra research will help to get you in the proper places for the most effective traffic. Always place the articles in where they belong. So, if you have an article on a health product you are promoting do not put it in the travel section. Keeping them in proper locations can only help you improve your targeted traffic which will result in more sales.

When you are providing your article to these directories, always makes sure there is just enough information to get their tongue wet. They will need to click on the link for additional information, which then your squeeze page will take over. This type of article marketing is the best way to get people to be driven to your squeeze page, and to get additional subscribers.
