What is the most important thing you will look while choosing a job?
You have offer and going to join a job. What will you look before join. Salary, Satisfaction, stability or growth prospects. What comes to your mind first.
Salary wins it for me Im afraid, but I will also look at the type of company and how it looks on my CV.
Definitely you should also look at your love for job and satisfaction to you.
I look at the stability of the organization, the position, industry, opportunity, salary, benfits, work environment, and the type of work that the organization is performing. I want to be part of an organization that is innovative and is a good corporate citizen that is morale in helping society in some way. Great question.
This all true, what about job satisfaction and growth prospects.
Benefits is the most important thing to me especially health. Then I usually look at growth potential and salary.
That is very true, timing , travel and culture of organisation is equally important.
I look for healthy, sane, productive work environments. Obviously, no one benefits from work that would make us sick. I think this is just as true with regards to emotional toxicity as it is to chemical toxicity or workplace hazards.
What kind of emotional environment does the leadership inspire, create, and sustain?
This is true along with satisfaction and career growth prospects.
I see a healthy environment as fundamental. In a healthy environment, satisfaction and (career) growth are possible. For more, see my hub on how to create a 5-year career plan (a Hub of the Day winner).
Assuming the salary and the company are reasonable for me it has to be working conditions: do I have to sit at a desk from 9-5, can I work at home, remotely etc.
Now this trend has started and may pick up.
