Do you think it's worth it to pay a little more to support local small businesses?
Definitely. If not you can expect a large chain store to take over.
Absolutely. I spend my hard earned money locally whenever possible.
Whenever I can, absolutely! I also make it a point to find good deals in the small businesses around town and tell everyone I know about them. There are places in my town where it's possible to get really good bakery-fresh bagels for $2.50 a dozen, a place that does specialty pizzas that can't be found anywhere else in town, and super-lean bratwursts with handmade specialty recipes for the same price as the fatty junk you find at Wal-Mart...and most people in my town don't even know about them because they just assume that these small specialty stores will be more expensive than the huge discount stores.
Definitely! Small businesses are what helped to create this country. Also, small businesses have an even more vested interest in their product, service and community.
