Hi Patty, I'm a new Hubber, from Shokan. I'm reading your posts on the Dutchess job market, & I see you've been Hub-writing for a long time.
The recession hasn't been kind to freelance singers, voice teachers & writers up here, so I'm branching out, trying internet business. I thought I'd ask you, as a fellow writer, if affiliate marketing via your HubPages has become a significant income stream. Also, if some of the collateral benefits of Hubbing, like wonderful posts & community, have also led to new income streams. I hope this isn't presumptuous; Ulster's less prosperous than Dutchess!
People ask if it is impossible to make money on HubPages and after seven good years on the site, I can say yes. read more

I just joined this website today. My question is regarding the quality of the things I have posted, seeing as one thing I wrote seems to have been taken away... I am open to suggestions so I can get better at what I do, especially seeing as writing is something I would like to someday do full time....

I am filling out my 1099 Misc Form to submit with my taxes but cannot turn it in because I do not have Hubpages Federal Tax ID #. Does anyone have it on their form from last year? Or does someone know how I can get the number so that I can submit my taxes? Thanks!

I have just had my amazon affiliate account approved & I didn't realise that any products I wanted to link to my hubs would be shown in Dollars and not Sterling.Is there an easy way of rectifying this or do I have to start all over and re-register with amazon.co.uk?I want to get on with writing...
