What would you do? Be OK with your current high paying job or pursue happiness in a fresh start?
I´m debating a change of career. Thing is, I´m ok with what I do, and I do it quite well. I work on a big company that pays me the salary of my life. It got a little old, though. Should I pursue a fresh start on a radically different place doing entirely different things?
That's a tough one. Being paid well and knowing you can afford nice things is great. It sounds like you enjoy challenges, and maybe your job has become a bit bland. I would say follow your instinct. It may be time to change paths and pursue new avenues. If I were you I would have a look around and see what other jobs are around and what the pay is like. Don't rush into anything, take your time until you find your dream job. When you know the salary, ask yourself if its worth the drop in pay, weigh up the pros and cons and take time to consider your options. We only get one chance in life, so I would follow your heart.
If my highly paid job is enjoyable, there are no reasons to change anything. However, some people love changes I would opt for the existing highly paid job.
