How do you react to cold calling telemarketers at home? At work? On your cell?
I have literally unplugged the phone from my wall and only use my home phone with my internal answering machine. My friends and family can reach me on my cell if needed. Telemarketing is beyond ridiculous and I find it very frustrating and invading of my home life. It is nothing less than excessive. We will probably be disconnecting our home phone in the very near future...the problem is I don't want to release my cell number to anyone except family or friends. If I do, the calls will then begin to come to my cell.
I don't thos callers a chance to speak once I know the nature of the call. As they are being rude by making the call, I feel entitled to be rude to them.
Not well. It's a total invasion that I really don't want to have deal with. I totally get people want/need to promote their business. However, don't call me I'll call you.
