What are some (preferably free) ways to get your website noticed by other people?
If you have a website that you use for products or items that you want to sell, how do you get your website noticed by other people or companies?
A great way is to post to forums, if you include your web address in your posts people can click on it to go to your site. As with hubpages the better the quality of your contributions the more people will read them and click on your links. Ensure you are posting to relevant sites and be careful becasue some forums don't allow you to put your address in the posts as they count it as spam.
There are a number of ways:
1. SEO (search engine optimization)
2. PPC (pay per click advertising)
3. Referrals (attracting direct traffic from a link on another website)
This is a huge question, but those three ways are the primary ways of going about it. You should start by sorting out the on-page SEO of the website, either yourself by trying to teach yourself, or paying a reputable SEO company to do so. You can work from there!
