Why do people, as they rise to higher and higher posts, become more stubborn and rigid??
is it really the case or just a few exceptions??
This happens to some individuals but not to everyone. When a person attains higher position, they are expected to behave the certain way. Someone who has power needs to be somewhat rigid and stubborn if they do not want to be manipulated. In addition, a person would like to secure their current position. Person's ego also plays an important part. The idea that they are better than the rest gets planted n their heads; thus, they 'know' what is the best.
Have you ever heard that 'power corrupts'? When people rose to a high, venerable position, they become patronizing and -how do I put it- a little bit tyrannical. Usually, a high position entails a higher pay than the rank-and-file type. With more wealth, they will probably agree that earning revenue takes precedence over clientele and colleagues' relationships and well-being.

Why are women with deep voices very assertive and confident?Could it be something in the genes relating to their voice or do they naturally feel confident because they have that deep tone.
