Does anyone else feel a bit hopeless in their job search.
I've been searching for over 6 months. I have a degree, a solid work history and great references.
I have openings I can't keep filled because my applicants are lazy. I wish I could find people who are seriously searching and have a solid work history!!!
I feel beyond hopeless in my job search. I was laid off 2 years ago. I'm well qualified and experienced, all the great qualities employers like - but I'm over 50 years old. I've been to countless interviews, and so positive I couldn't possibly NOT get the job - and over and over, they're hiring much younger people. WHY doesn't anyone want to hire someone my age? So yeah. I'm feeling hopeless - and frustrated...
