Skill security means you are in demand even if your job is lost due to business closures.
In short, job security means THAT JOB remains there and you can remain there as long as the job is there. Skill security means you can go to another job if that one is not a fit or ends.
Skill security can also result in higher pay, because you are in demand.
There is simple answer for your query. You should rely on what you have rather than what you owe for others. Same is the case of skill security(that you own) and job security(that you do for your company's eanterpreneur)
