What Makes Persons Using Hub Pages So Very Special?

Updated on December 2, 2012

What a question!

We will try to be fair in answering this question by sharing our own experiences and vivid moments. Will be hard at times, but will be worth the try. Here we go, with a raw idea and a hypothetical script.

When you create, your sensibility sharpens. Am I wrong?

In the process of creating with your own flair and uniqueness, you also open up your heart. You can tell who did write from within, when for instance, you are taken to the very end of their hub. Some get your attention, but others get your votes.

In the meantime, you are prone to show that interest in helping a hubber friend. Those examples are seen in friends like Epigramman, Alocsin, Tammyswallow, Ardie, RealHouseWife, AEvans, Cindy Murdoch, Miss Olive... I mean, you name it. We get unconditional support from them and most of us will eventually come to understand that this site is really different from others.

The ping-pong effect

We give this effect a name of our own. You come in here and you bump into a common sense rule: You follow a colleague, and they will follow you back. You go to see a friend at his/her house, and get a wonderful and rewarding chatting.

Later on, you get paid the same way. This etiquette is laid out for us, to socialize and exchange thoughts. Commenting will also enable camaraderie. Which will send a reciprocal message through our own 'mental networking.' The same effect takes place at sites like twitter and Pinterest. There are moments when you will feel like you found a new family.

The Adiction

When you have two addicts meeting at A.A. What do you see? You see them shaking hands and start exchanging some words. Same thing in here. You see AEvans very early taking her coffee and checking her feeding in here. Sunnie day, started around 4.45 a.m. central time and Mary615 is ready to post the pictures of her new recipe.

But what all of these ladies have in common? The need to be in here and spread some 'hub-love.' The A.A. session takes the same course. We all come in here to exchange emotions and feelings through the word. Some love poetry, and others can rally Washington better than Rush Limbaugh. But add the ping pong effect to this interactivity, and eventually becomes a party for our mind. Some will greet your creativity, and others will admire your well researched work.

Is not in the rules, and it hasn't even been talked about by psychiatrists yet, but when you join us... you will stay with us. Unless you get marry and your new spouse disapproves those late night commenting, or maybe you start writing your new e-book after gaining experience and confidence in yourself.

This phenomenon can be compared with the rippling effect of the first printing press from Gutenberg, or the innovation of the microcomputers from the early 80's up to our iPads. Social media, psychology and HubPages will change your life forever. If you are new, then you were warned. But, if you are a veteran, then you would say something like..."what in the world am I doing in here...?"

We built this city called: Hub-rock-and-roll

Do you think HubPages has changed your life?

@@ Cardisa, dear! What I'm going to do with you? Those goats might need a vacation on a cruise, leaving Kingston. The thing is , would you be able to go, and not being connected to us? Would you be able to connect through the satellite from the boiling room, down at that ship? You need help from us? Here is the lifesaver...wait lets jump together! This ship is sinking already!!

@Hi Eddie, Thanks for reading our hub...! You are always shining through your comments. That up..up and away ending is already your trade mark. If you come in here and do not happen to end your comment that way... then your account was hacked. Lol! Thanks again!

@MissOlive, we are rocking the house and there is not much we can add to your vibrant eulogy. Hope you have a wonderful and rewarding staying in here.

@KelleyWard, Nice to meet you our smiley friendly soul. We knew we needed to give advice to the newbies and we felt good about it. Your hubs are pretty educational, and your kids should love you whole bunches. Thanks for your support.

    @Victoria Lynn,

Your personality tells us that you can succeed in here and wherever you can go. Thanks for being such a nice person. I appreciate a lot your friendship.

@Vinaya, you said it so well. We can get this world so close to home, and we all are sensitive human beings. Thanks my friend for commenting.

@Homesteadbound, you represent the epitome of the insatiable an prolific hubber. We recognize in you a potential writer, that can go where not hubber has ever been before. Have a safe hubbing and get some rest from this challenge. We admire your energy and creativity.

@Tammy S., Thanks so much! I'm speechless sometimes. We like to write in here, and we have met Wonderful writers like you!

@Ruchira, we have learned as we went as well. This community has a bonding connection that at times we cannot explain. We are proud of you also. Thansk for taking your time and join us.

@Turtlewoman, you have a knack for humorous remarks and we like that! You can stop by at anytime. We will catch up with some reading as well.

@Lathing, We would love to send you this mug with your name in it... but can you imagine 300 people requesting the same gift? Thanks for being in here. And yeah, we did respond from our own mind and heart.

@ Valleyforge84, Thanks for stopping by in here, and welcome to HP. Hope to see you growing in here. Bye friend.

@Dmop, thanks for the follow. Thankf You for that thoughful commenting of yours. Will be checking your hubs as well. Have a nice one!

Jessy10, we all came in here with expectations and we abode by the rules. Panda was a scary thing and SEO sets up a buffering shield against those no follow intentions.

@Cliff Mendrez, persevere and push your best bets. If you love to write articles from your heart and originality, you won't have to worry about followers. The word will be out and you will see positive changes around you.

Great hub! I also found myself asking the very same question you mentioned on the last part of your hub, minus the veteran part. I have very few followers but I can proudly say that they read my hubs. I am looking forward to gaining more friends here at HubPages. Up and sharing!
