   How do you balance your time between HubPages and blogging?
   
   I love writing on HubPages but I want to maintain my blogs, but I find it hard to balance and end up spending lots more time on HubPages.

   I have just started both, but I keep to I guess sort of a plan, I write one article for each, also add in one article for ezine articles and one squidoo page then start over. Sometimes only get one article for each a week, 3 blogs, sometimes less, but it seems to be working. I am getting some traffic, minimal. I think that you just have to have some type of plan. This worls well for me, because of my schedule.

   I like to use hubpages as an auxiliary place to write articles that I am interested in putting together but fall outside the content that I write on a few blogs.  Hubpages is great for these types of articles and so I enjoy putting up a new hub every few days or week.

   I just started blogging again.  Of the blogs I write, I find they are sounding boards for other things I am working on in hubpages and elsewhere.  A blog is a quick easy way to throw a few ideas out into cyberspace.  It is the initial draft, and sometimes just the idea of phase of something better that may come later (even if it takes a few months).  I also love that I can post blog entries from my smartphone so when I get an idea or a little bit of downtime - I can jot down some insights.

   I don't blog. I just sort of never had enough ego to think that anyone would be interested in what I thought or did - outside of my fiction writing.

   I find it hard to tear myself away from HP, but you need to make up your mind to do it. I find it easier to do my articles on my computer and just paste them to HP or my blog, that way I spend less time on each site, instead of typing directly into the post or hub capsule. I also limit the amount of tasks I do on HP like commenting and forums, so I have more time to blog and do my freelance work.

   I don't Im so badly organised like that I sometimes find I just have to leave my computer otherwise I'll spend all day on one or the other.

   This is a great question to ask.  In fact, I had thought of this question myself days earlier.  I'm glad you asked the question though!
   
   I feel that you have to find a balance between hubbing and blogging.  I would say split your time to where you can equally spend a little bit of time on both.  This would also depend on how much blogging you do in a day!  You can also opt to writing a hub or two once a week.  Again, depending on how many hubs you write in a week?  Good fortune, and may you receive the answer you are looking for.
