    The Hub Pages Apprenticeship?

Has anyone applied to go on this awesome course?

Yes, I just applied last week.  I received a notice that they are reviewing applicants and will get back to me later on their decision for  awarded apprenticeships.  It is a great program and one that would be so beneficial to every hubber.

Seeker7, yes, I hope that at some time we do get accepted. Any writing techniques I can acquire will be used to improve my hubs.  Maybe we will get selected on the same program -- that would be nice on the sharing of ideas sections.

Hi teaches12345, I agree the programme is awesome. I have applied as well and hoping that at some point I may get accepted. What a great opportunity to improve our writing skills!

Sorry, Blissfulwriter. Did they mention any criteria that they look for? Can you reapply at a later date?

We do not know the exact criteria that they are looking for.  But it includes good grammatical writing.  And I believe that one can re-apply next time.

I applied the day it began and didn't get anything saying that I could be chosen. I submitted everything required and still awaiting response. I wonder if they just want hubbers with extensive knowledge on a subject among other untold stipulations you need in order to be looked at as a possible apprentice. I'm still hoping to get in.

I applied about the same time and haven't heard anything yea or nay either. However, considering the number of hubbers, I'm sure they have a lot to look at. I'm just waiting...

I have applied and surprisingly was accepted! I think it is kind of a first come, first served thing, but I know that if I had not been accepted, I would certainly keep trying.
We are divided into 3 teams (as far as I know) with mentors for each team. They will give us monthly topics to write about and I think an editor will review them and offer advice on how to improve the hub.
While waiting for acceptance, I would imagine that you could form teams on your own and offer each other advice. We all have our supporters, but we need people that know how things work to help us from time to time. That is what makes this apprenticeship thing so attractive to me.

I did apply the second day they opened the apprent. program and I didn't get accepted.  Man hubpages are hard critiques or stipulations.
