Wow, just found one of my articles plagiarized almost word for word by a writer named Sharon Jones on The funniest part in her bio is she claims to be a "devoted Christian"! Guess she missed the "Thou shalt not steal" part!

Definitely report her to and file a DCMA.

Left her a comment and sent examiner an e-mail, too. Never have filed a DCMA, but I guess I'm going to learn how now!

WOL, my hub was written months before she "wrote" hers, but yes, the DCMA is in the works right now. Most of my stuff is so random, I can't believe anyone thought to copy it!

Have you checked your other Hubs for copying? I wrote an article a while back that demonstrates how you can check practically the entire Internet for copies of your work.  Check out the article at <snipped - no promotional links in the forums>

      Good luck, hope this helps.

I'm curious, have you anything back about this?

Yes, had a fantastic outcome once I wrote directly to and filed a DMCA. After receiving my complaint, they looked into this "writer's" articles and found her entire body of work on examiner was plagiarized. They took down all of her articles and pretty much gave her the boot off of examiner, plus sent me a very nice note explaining what they had done. Sometimes revenge IS really sweet!

Good news on their being caught.  Good for you.
