I have just stumbled upon a few of my hubs where the images are no longer showing. They were when it was first published, and they have a few pins so I can therefore assume that others saw them too, but now I am presented with an error-type box.
When I try to re-load it in, the select photos option does not show the image either. As in I can locate it on my computer but it won't appear in the display box.
I then went to my account and looked at my photo gallery and lots of my photos are only showing up as grey boxes and when I click on them to view it says problem loading.
The images are typically 350x350 in size so I doubt it is a sizing problem. I suspect (and hope) a temporary glitch however it does look odd. I have tried using firefox, as opposed to safari, to see if it made any difference and it didn't. Am I allowed to add a link here as an example?
My pictures aren't working either. I'm trying to complete a hub and the pictures aren't loading properly. I can pick them off my computer, it acts like it loads but shows up blank. I hope someone has a solution soon.
I can't get photos to load, either. It doesn't seem to matter which browser I use so i guess it is a problem at Hubpages end of things.
It would be great to get this sorted quickly, as i am sure it is holding a lot of people up from publishing.

It appears this temporary glitch is resolved now.
If you are still seeing the issue, try clearing your browser cache.
If you are still having issues after clearing cache, please post here as I will be monitoring this thread.
I've tried IE8 and Firefox. Never had this problem before
For what it is worth, this seems to be another technical issue much like when Amazon capsules were not loading /showing properly. Hopefully staff is on top of this and the issue will be resolved soon.
My new cookie recipe will just have to wait: I'm not publishing it without all those photos I took!
mizingarella and mary615; You should not have to do anything. Once the issue is resolved more than likely your images will appear as they should. You can save unpublished for now until HP takes care of the issue.
I too am having an issue with images when trying to upload. I get the image window with a red "X" in the upper left corner.

I have repeatedly tried to upload photos directly in hub editing ... unsuccessfully.So then I tried uploading directly to 'photos'. Chose 11 photos but only one uploaded.Yet all photos were taken on the same camera, reduced size using the same process, shared similar names etc.Am I the only one...

I recall my photos looking distinctly sharper in previous months on all of my Hubs. I hope we can return to the crisp image quality once displayed as a standard on HubPages.

I have uploaded many images for my content, yet none seem to display with the story. Why? It indicated that all did upload OK. What is the reason? is there a delay?Perrya

When a photo is uploaded using the option "Web" , only a part of the photo is uploaded. The botttom part of the photo is distorted. This problem is happening from yesterday.
